School is out for the summer. Time for me to hit the road, friends.
I leave tomorrow to take a group of my students to New York and Boston for a week. I come back to St. George for 24 hours, before taking a second group of students to Boston, Salem and Plymouth for a week.
But the big trip comes in July. I can't even breathe. I'm so excited.
My little brother and I are going to Liverpool, Madrid and Barcelona.
Liverpool- We're both psychotic Beatles fans and we're making our pilgrimage to Casbah, the Cavern, the Mersey Docks, Fortlin Road, Mendips, Penny Lane, Strawberry Field, etc.
Madrid- We're going to visit our exchange student, Jorge. I visited him about 5 years ago, but Dallin hasn't seen Jorge since 2002.
Barcelona- When I went to San Francisco in February, I met the coolest girl there, who recently moved back to Barcelona. Seeing her facebook pictures and hearing her talk about the city that she loves, inspired me to get myself to the sandy beaches of Barcelona.
I'll be gone in Europe for the month of July. I'm so excited. Welcome to the summer of 2009 :) I couldn't ask for a better travel partner. Dallin is my best friend in the whole world and I'm so lucky to be able to steal him away for a month! Besties for life!

What a fabulous way to spend your summer. It must be a teacher thing. My dad is always complaining that as soon as my mom has any time off she just leaves and goes on a bunch of trips. Hey, if I had 3 months off, I would do the same thing. I definitely want to see your awesome photos from Europe!

How fun!!! You'll be here in New York & Boston??? I live just two hours away from Boston and about 1 hour from NYC. I'm in Boston next week for 3 days for work- when will you be there??? SUPER jealous you're going to Spain...I LOVE LOVE LOVE Spain! If you have a chance- you should try to get up to Northern Spain...it's BEAUTIFUL!!
