On my way to work this morning, I got pulled over for following too closely.
True story.
When the officer gave me my official written warning, I noticed a typo.
On the official warning notice, produced by the prestigious St. George Police Department, he checked the box that said I was "following to closely."
Is it TOO much TO ask that the City of St. George have official documents that distinguish the difference between TOO and TO? At least I didn't get TWO warnings. That would have been TOO much TO handle.
Honestly. I'm unimpressed. I'm TOO unimpressed. I can't believe I have to explain this TO someone.
Vent finished.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt; is there a place in St George called "Closely" that you were following someone to?
Nope? Okay. They eff-star-star-starred up. Sorry about the ticket.
That is lame. It's really not that difficult of a grammatical rule to follow either. Sorry you got pulled over. That is never a good start to the day.
Ugh. Don't get me started.
I love the rant.
that's hilarious. at least it wasn't "following to close."
LOL! I hate that TOO!
I was pulled over for the same thing once but I didn't get a ticket or an official warning just a "don't do it again." So, I can't tell you if SLC police are any better with their grammar than the ST. George Cops.
Linds, your just to much too handle out their on the roads. Honestly, those cops totally know what there doing. ;)
I love catching grammatical errors, especially when you're bugged at the person involved. I bet you felt a little vindicated...
Sorry! I'm totally in LOVE with cops right now. They busted a little MJ operation across the street and provided us with some free drama for Memorial Day weekend.
