She loves you, yeah, yeah yeah.

I love The Beatles. A lot. Have I mentioned that before? Yikes.

In about a week, I'm leaving for Europe. I just wanted to tell you about my first stop, which I'm super excited about: Liverpool.

I've been to London a handful of times, but I've never crossed the UK to go to Liverpool. So this is a first. My brother, Dylan, and I are going to Liverpool strictly for Beatles tourism purposes.

I've been busy booking tours of various geeky Beatles things (The "Magical History Tour," Lennon and McCartney's childhood homes, Pete and Mona Best's Casbah Coffee Club, etc.) and after booking something, I got an email back from the National Trust, asking if my brother and I would be interested in being part of a television program that they are filming about Beatles Tourism in the UK. After several emails back and forth, and a few phone calls, we got it all set up. We'll be there for National Beatles Day, so they want to take us around to all of the events and show how two All-American-Kids have come all the way to Liverpool for Beatlemania. They're taking us out to dinner, trapsing us around Liverpool and then interviewing us about our experience.

I'm freakin excited. Yeah yeah yeah.

National Beatles Day?! Wow, you are a die hard. I have to say I have a feeling you're gonna enjoy Liverpool a whole lot more than I did. The Beatles was pretty awesome though, even for a non-hard-core Beatles fan.
