The Windy City was Might Pretty.

Lindsey and Sydnee's Weekend Checklist:

1. Score the last two stand-by seats on the red-eye from Vegas to Chicago? Check.
2. Take sleeping pill, recline seat, wake up in Chicago? Check.
3. Grab a coffee, jump on the El, pay a visit to Wrigley Field at sunrise? Check.
4. Listen to homeless men mumbling to themselves on the train? Check.
5. Visit Millennium Park, grab second coffee and feel like big-city hotties? Obviously.
6. Take the bus to Navy Pier? Check.
7. Boat ride along the Chicago River to see the incredible architecture of America's Second City? Check.
8. Coffee and Bailey's? (A girl's gotta keep warm!) Check.
9. Eat lunch at the "World Famous" Billy Goat Tavern (where they peer-pressured us to get the double-double... Cheezborger! Cheezborger!) Check.
10. Hop-on Hope-off double-decker tour of Chicago with our ultra-cheesy, but super funny tour guide Bill (aka Indiana Jones)? Check.
11. Train ride back to O'Hare, first-class seats back to Vegas, back home before midnight? Check.

Great weekend. It's a big world out there. And I'm gonna see it all.

Syd, with one of our many hot beverages from that day.

Me checking out the big bean at Millennium Park.

Nice. I've never been to Chicago, but I have a friend there, so one of these days I might have to visit. I sure love that bean. It's so cool. Also, I'm way jealous that you got to fly first class!

Lou, did you get your title from an Angus and Julia Stone song? I am so glad you had a wonderful trip! It was great to talk to you over the weekend.
