The Stars at Night are Big and Bright (clap, clap, clap, clap)

Wednesday afternoon, Justin and I caught the flight from Vegas to Dallas, to spend Thanksgiving weekend in his home town of Gainesville, Texas. Absolutely wonderful trip! He has a fantastic family and so many great friends that I was able to meet on this quick visit. I really loved my time down there- the catfish, the hushpuppies, the sweet tea, the good weather, the (mild to moderate) Texan accents, the respect for Robert E Lee, and the beer-to-go stands.

Gainesville is just a few miles away from the Oklahoma border, so we made a quick border crossing to visit the Indian Casino.

J and his favorite Texas beverage, while we were in Fort Worth.

Standing next to the Grassy Knoll, after spending the morning in the 6th Floor Museum, where they say Oswald fired the shots that killed JFK. At least that's their story.

It wouldn't be Texas without some great barbecued beef! Sitting here at Rudy's bbq, in Denton, TX. We also found some awesome holiday Shiners (peaches and pecan!)

Lindsey, I love your yellow scarf. You look beautiful wearing it. Yellow is a hard color to pull off.
