My Spanish Family

In 2002 I was introduced to my new brother from Madrid, Jorge. Jorge lived with our family for 5 months and became another sibling. We also became close with his brother Carlos, who lived with a nearby family. Over the past 8 years, I've been able to visit Jorge a few times, and our friendship has remained close. (I could not find pictures of when he lived with my family! They must all be at my parents' house!)

In Segovia, Spain, summer of 2002 with my friend Hannah, Jorge, and my Spanish mom and dad.
Summer of 2009, out partying in Madrid with Jorge, Carlos and Rocio.

This weekend, visiting my Spanish family!
This weekend, my little brother Jorge got married to his beautiful girlfriend of 5 years, Rocio. I was lucky enough to be able to go out and visit him. I will always value the friendship and love of this family! Te kiero, Jor!!

That's so awesome that you have been able to stay close to Jorge and his family. Being there for a wedding is extra special. Hope you had a great trip and a Happy Thanksgiving!

Why are you guys wearing gloves? Are you doing a science experiment?

Hahaha, apparently frosted sugar cookies are quite the novelty in Spain. Gloves were the most hygienic option :)
